Possibly both… I just feel so discouraged today. Why am I such a messy housekeeper, Lord?! My mom certainly isn’t. I’m just so tired… it’s easier to work at the computer and ignore the mess. But that’s not the way to teach my children, is it?
I need to get up more, walk around more, be physically active more. But, I can make money sitting at my computer, creating and maintaining Web sites.
I need to seek God more, too. The only thing keeping me from my quiet time is ME!

I’ve spent this past week getting more familiar with the Homestead SiteBuilder program. I have a client who has a site there, and it’s been a learning experience, to say the least. Seems no two companies can use the same software… guess they all want to be better, and unique. Not that I blame them–that’s human nature. It stretches my brain, and that’s a good thing, really.
This same client passed my name onto another person, and I’ve been in contact with him about doing his site as well. He said it’s a “Google” site… I’m not sure if he means a blog, or some free space at Google, or what, so once again it will be a learning curve.
I remember my very first site, through GeoCities, which has since been absorbed by Yahoo. They had their own software for creating sites, which I used, but then I started viewing the source code of other sites. That lead me to learn HTML and coding sites manually. I still like to tweak coding when I need to, but now I use DreamWeaver to create many of the sites I do.
Which reminds me… I need to update our family site! I slapped a photo up a couple weeks ago and haven’t touched it since. I need to talk to Jef and see what he wants to do with the site. Maybe I should put a blog there, too, so my in-laws can post pictures? I’ll discuss that with them today!
And, of course, I’ll be in prayer about how God wants me to proceed. It is purely His grace that keeps me creative.
